Beyond the Family Tree is a therapy group designed for adults who have made the importance choice of cutting off contact with family members. The goal of this therapy group is to help people who have made the decision to disconnect from family, and give them the room to grieve, process, understand, and build tools to further help accept their circumstances and find strength and power in choosing themselves.
Who this group is for :
Adults 18+ who are making the choice or made the choice to go no contact with family members
People who want to explore and process their experiences that led them to this decision
People who would like to build a chosen support system to help them throughout their journey
People who want to gain insight into themselves and their family dynamics and learn tools to manage the thoughts and feelings evoked by these patterns.
Group Details:
Where: Virtually via GoogleMeet
When: Every Thursday evening from 6-7:30
Weeks: Group is 8 weeks long
Cost: $ 50 per session

FAQ's :
Can anyone join group? No, group will be closed so once members are picked, no one else can join.
What happens if I miss a session? Please notify the therapist within 24 hours of expected absence to avoid paying the session fee.
Can I use my insurance to cover the group fee? Unfortunately, no. Group has to be paid out of pocket. If there are financial concerns, please speak with the therapist directly.
How many people will be in the group? The group is small to help build trust and support for all everyone and will only consist of 6-8 members.
